High Memory Usage?

November 30th, 2006 by admin

Many readers of a magazine called Internet Week, reported high memory usage in Firefox 1.5. Developers of Mozilla Firefox said the higher memory use of Firefox 1.5 is usually or sometimes an affect at at least partially related to the new fast backwards and forwards FastBack feature. Memory problems are also caused by malfunctioning browser extensions, such as Google Toolbar and Adblock or plug-ins, such as older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
